Best Practices
Operating principles for high-quality feedback and analysis in Gr0ve.
1. Provide Context for Each Project and Form
Gr0ve's analysis is context-aware. You provide the context, and the AI uses it to guide every pass of the analysis flow. The better the context, the better the output.
2. Prefer Other Question Types Over Text When You Can
Text questions drive Gr0ve's AI analysis and consume analysis credits. We recommend using as few text questions as possible and choosing other question types (for example, multiple choice and rating) when they can capture what you need.
3. Stay Anonymous-First for Honest Feedback
Gr0ve is anonymous-first by design so responders feel safe giving honest feedback. Only turn on "Take Name" or "Take Email" when your use case clearly requires it (for example, follow-up or support tickets).
If you're unsure, lean toward anonymous.
4. A Trick for Collecting NPS/CSAT
Put your NPS or CSAT within a continuous feedback loop and mark it required. Then whenever a responder is filling out a form for another purpose (for example, feature suggestions or bug reports), they quickly answer the NPS/CSAT question as part of the same flow.
